A truly practical handling and training course with Sarah Whitehead and Stella Bagshaw

This two-day ALL-PRACTICAL canine handling and training course is designed to help students learn gentle, modern handling and training techniques in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere. We also give rescue dogs the training they need to find new homes!

This course is designed to provide intensive instruction over two days, covering:

• Understanding canine body language and facial expression
• Assessing temperament and training needs
• Using positive reinforcement - training dogs using clicker training
• Practical handling and training with dogs in the centre
• Teaching transferable skills that last

Course details:
Two-day attendance at a rehoming centre in Chobham, Surrey
(Northern region venue being planned - do ask)
Course dates: May and October
Max 12 students per course - book early!
Cost: £375 (non-accredited course)

Who is this course for?
All those who would like to further their own handling skills in whatever capacity. Past students have been welfare staff, trainers, behaviour counsellors, veterinary staff and dedicated owners. If you want to get 'hands on' in an informal but informative setting, this course is for you!
